Alexandra's varied career in film, television, theatre and voiceover, spans more than forty years. She grew up in the UK but has lived on and off in the US for over thirty years. For ten years she worked as an actress in Los Angeles and now lives between London, Suffolk and an ancient rain forest in Washington State.
 
ACTING: Her Hollywood credits include MR HOLLAND'S OPUS with Richard Dreyfuss, THE BIG THING with Bryan Cranston, FROM PARIS WITH LOVE with John Travolta & First Class Woman in James Cameron's TITANIC. In the UK she was a series regular, CLARISSA MASON, on CORONATION STREET and played several TV guest roles. She's the voice of Gov Elaine Marley in The Tales of Monkey Island. Her theatre credits range from Shakespeare to panto and too many Alan Ayckbourn plays to mention.
 
DIRECTING: Alexandra's directing career began in 2011. BOXER ON THE WILDERNESS was nominated for Best Short Film at the East End Film Festival and had a long and successful festival run. The short is a teaser for her screenplay THE WILDERNESS. Her debut feature WIDOW'S WALK was set and shot in her native Suffolk. The film won Best Cinematography at the Chelsea Film Festival in New York. She wrote, directed and produced the film which stars Miranda Raison, David Caves and BAFTA-winner and veteran stage and screen actress, Dame Virginia McKenna OBE.

Her second feature is the documentary SHIP OF DREAMS: TITANIC MOVIE DIARIES. It features actors cast in James Cameron's film reading from diaries they wrote in 1996 and includes interviews with the film's superfans, the Titaniacs, who continue to keep the legacy of Titanic in their hearts.

AUTHOR: THE TITANIC MOVIE DIARIES is a companion piece to her documentary. In part it is a memoire but at the heart it is a collection of sixteen Titanic actors' complete on set diaries. The History Press - March 2027.

PODCASTER: Alexandra co-hosts a popular podcast with Nelson Aspen. In its fourth season, TITANIC TALK has 70+ episodes of interviews with historians, actors, explorers and fans.

ACTIVIST: inspired to encourage more women into the film industry behind the camera, Alexandra co-founded the non-profit  Artemisia's Daughters to empower, educate and encourage the next generation of female filmmakers. They shot their first short film in the summer of 2022. She hosts a podcast called Fierce Female Filmmakers where she talks with the women making their way in the film and TV industries.

SPEAKER: Alexandra is a keynote speaker on her experiences working on Titanic and the continued cultural impact of the ship through the film thirty years later.
